Prequalification Process

To be considered for bidding opportunities, we ask that interested subcontractors submit:

Company Information:

  • Legal business name and DBA
  • Primary contact name, phone, and email
  • Years in business
  • Arizona ROC license number(s) and classification(s)
  • Bonding capacity (if applicable)

Insurance & Safety:

  • General liability insurance (certificate and limits)
  • Workers’ compensation coverage (certificate)
  • Auto insurance
  • EMR (Experience Modification Rate)
  • Safety program information

Capabilities & Experience:

  • Trade specialties and services provided
  • Types of projects (size, complexity, sectors)
  • Geographic service area
  • Typical project values
  • References from recent general contractor clients

Financial Information:

  • D&B rating (if available)
  • Bank references
  • Surety information (if bonded)

Bidding Opportunities

Once prequalified, you’ll be added to our subcontractor database and invited to bid on projects matching your trade and capabilities. Bid invitations will include:

  • Complete project scope and specifications
  • Bid due date and submittal instructions
  • Project schedule and key milestones
  • Site logistics and access information
  • Prequalification requirements

Competitive & Fair Bidding

We solicit competitive bids and evaluate subcontractors based on qualifications, experience, pricing, and project fit. The lowest bid doesn’t automatically win — we’re looking for the best overall value and the right partner for each project.

Working on Craftline Projects

Licensing & Insurance Requirements

Arizona ROC License:

Current, valid license in good standing for your trade classification (where applicable)

General Liability Insurance:

Minimum $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate (higher limits may be required for specific projects)

Workers’ Compensation:

Statutory coverage for all employees as required by Arizona law

Automobile Insurance:

Commercial auto coverage for all vehicles operating on project sites

Additional Insured:

Ability to name Craftline Builders and project owners as additional insured on liability policies

Safety Requirements

  • Written safety program and site-specific safety plans
  • OSHA compliance and proper training documentation
  • Daily toolbox talks and hazard communication
  • Proper PPE for all workers
  • Drug-free workplace policy
  • Incident reporting and investigation procedures

Quality & Performance Standards

  • Work performed to plans, specifications, and applicable codes
  • Proper coordination with other trades
  • Clean work areas maintained throughout project
  • Punch list items completed promptly
  • Warranty support and callbacks honored
